II. Memory Dredge (2014-2018)[??? This is a missing piece.] III. Karmic Dream Sequence (2018-2021)In 2018, Casey wakes up on the shore of a cold island beach, completely alone and with no memory whatsoever. A combination of an intense dread of the water, as well as a deep, instinctual need for peace causes her to reject searching for help, and she instead settles in the island's lighthouse.As she spends more time on the island, things begin to warp. Memories and visions appear in dreams just out of reach, and they can't shake the feeling of being watched... A story begins to unfold from the lighthouse and the island, and from it grows a sense of unease. All the while, Casey is falling into a spiral of psychosis, paranoia, ghost stories, mystery, darkness, and loneliness. Around a year later, the strange and mysterious Johanna appears on the island as well. Her overly calm, distant and odd nature unnerves and scares Casey, but her presence helps ground him, and they become closer over learning their "curses" are not entirely different, and further work through the mystery of the island... |
